How to work out the age for 2017
Subtract 2017 from the current year: 2026 − 2017 = 9. That is the age a person reaches on their birthday in 2026. Until the birthday comes, take one off, which gives 8. For example, someone born on December 1, 2017 is 8 today, because their 2026 birthday is still to come.
