How to work out the age for 2018
Subtract 2018 from the current year: 2026 − 2018 = 8. That is the age a person reaches on their birthday in 2026. Until the birthday comes, take one off, which gives 7. For example, someone born on December 1, 2018 is 7 today, because their 2026 birthday is still to come.
