- Daily: newspaper and editorial reading (about an hour), English practice, and a fixed slot for one optional subject.
- Three times a week: General Science and Ability, especially the mathematics and reasoning part, which rewards regular practice.
- Weekly: one full essay, one Pakistan Affairs or Current Affairs answer under timed conditions, and a review of what went wrong.
