About Day of Arafah
The Day of Arafah is the most important day of Hajj, when pilgrims gather on the plain of Arafat. For Muslims who are not on Hajj, fasting on this day is highly recommended.
Day of Arafah is on 9 Dhul Hijjah, the day before Eid al-Adha. In 2027 it lands on a Sunday, so it falls on a weekend, in week 19 of the year. Expected date in Pakistan. Pakistan usually marks Islamic dates one day after Saudi Arabia, and the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee confirms the final date after the moon is sighted.
