How it works
The calculator tries every way of stacking the inner boxes, in every orientation, and picks the arrangement with the smallest carton. If no arrangement fits the exact number, it shows how many spaces stay empty.
The carton weight assumes 3-ply board at about 540 g/m². Use the box weight calculator for a heavier board.

What is a master carton?
A master carton (outer carton) holds several retail boxes or inner packs, so they can be shipped and stored together.
What is a good weight for a carton?
Try to stay under 23 kg (50 lb) so one person can lift it safely. Many factories aim for 15 to 20 kg.
Why is my carton not a neat cube?
The smallest carton follows the inner box shape. A flatter or longer carton often uses less board than a cube for the same boxes.
