How it works
Each mode uses a set density: 1 CBM counts as 167 kg for air (the 1:6000 rule), 200 kg for most courier services (÷ 5000), 333 kg for road and 1,000 kg for sea. The carrier charges the higher of that and the real weight.
Frequently asked questions
How many kg is 1 CBM?
It depends on the mode: 167 kg for air freight, 200 kg for courier, 333 kg for road and 1,000 kg for sea.
Is CBM to kg a real conversion?
No. CBM measures space and kg measures weight. Carriers use these ratios only to price light, bulky cargo fairly.
