How it works
Pallets are placed in rows lengthwise and crosswise, picking the mix that fits the most on the floor. Stacking doubles the count when two loaded pallets fit under the roof and the goods can take the weight.

11 Euro pallets (120 × 80 cm) fit on the floor of a 20 ft container. A 40 ft takes up to 25, though 23 or 24 is common once you allow for the walls and door.
How many standard pallets fit in a 40 ft container?
Up to 22 pallets of 120 × 100 cm on paper; 20 or 21 is a safer plan.
