How it works
Air: chargeable weight is the higher of the real weight and the volume at 1 CBM = 167 kg (the 1:6000 rule). Road: 1 CBM = 333 kg. Sea LCL: charged per revenue ton (W/M), the higher of the CBM and the weight in tonnes, usually with a 1 CBM minimum. FCL: a price per container.
Duties and taxes at the destination are not included. Ask your forwarder for current rates; they change week to week.

Roughly from 13 to 15 CBM for a 20 ft container, depending on the route. Compare both quotes.
What does W/M mean?
Weight or measure: sea freight is charged on the cubic metres or the tonnes, whichever is greater.
