How it works
Code 128 encodes any letters and numbers and suits shipping and internal stock. Retail products sold in shops need an EAN-13 (or UPC-A in North America) number from GS1, so the code is unique worldwide; in Pakistan that is GS1 Pakistan. ITF-14 is used on outer cartons.
For EAN-13 you can enter 12 digits and the check digit is worked out for you.

Can I make up my own EAN-13 number?
You can draw any number, but shops and marketplaces expect a GS1-registered number for retail products. Use made-up numbers only for internal use.
