How it works
A box net is the flat shape that folds into a cuboid: four side faces in a row with the top and bottom attached to the front. Glue tabs on the edges hold it together. Surface area = 2 × (lw + lh + wh).

How many nets does a cuboid have?
A cube has 11 different nets, and a cuboid with three different side lengths has 54. This tool draws the most common cross-shaped one.

Card of 200 to 300 g/m² folds cleanly and holds its shape.
