How it works
Board area comes from the flat blank of a regular slotted box. Tape uses a 6 cm overlap down each end. Void fill is the empty space left in each box after the product, for paper, air pillows or loose fill.

How much wastage should I allow?
Allow 3 to 5% for cutting and set-up, and more for small runs or printed boxes.
How do I measure void fill?
Most void fill is sold by volume. If a product fills 60% of the box, the other 40% of the box volume needs fill.
