How it works
Turns = load height ÷ (film width × (1 − overlap)) + extra wraps at the top and bottom. Each turn goes once around the pallet perimeter.
Pre-stretch makes the film longer before it goes on: at 200% pre-stretch, 1 m from the roll becomes 3 m on the load. Film weight uses a density of 0.92 g/cm³.

What thickness of stretch film should I use?
Machine film is usually 12 to 23 microns, and hand film 17 to 25 microns. Heavier or sharper loads need thicker film.
What overlap is normal?
About 50%, so each turn covers half of the one below.
