Work out how much pallet wrap each pallet needs when you wrap by hand, and how many rolls to order.

How it works

Walk the roll around the pallet with about half of each turn covering the one below, and add 3 extra turns at the bottom to lock the load to the pallet and 3 at the top.

Hand wrap is not pre-stretched by a machine, so the length on the load is about the length taken from the roll.

Frequently asked questions

How many times should I wrap a pallet?

Enough to cover the load with 50% overlap, plus 3 to 5 turns at the base and top. For a 150 cm load with 50 cm film that is about 12 turns.

How long is a roll of hand pallet wrap?

Hand rolls are usually 200 to 300 m long and 50 cm wide.
